Embroidery

My name is Shelley. I am blessed to have been born and raised in the beautiful Flint Hills surrounding our home, where my husband and I raised our 3 kids who have now flown the coop.
This adventure is a side-gig for me, out of my home ... and so far, I'm loving it! From the creativeness and satisfaction to the challenges and even the frustration. I've always had a creative side, but seldom had an outlet to use it. In this gig, I'm able to put some of that creativeness to use.
I helped my mother-in-law many years ago when she added machine embroidery to her various handiworks. It triggered an interest and enjoyment. Last year I bought my own 10 needle embroidery machine and I love re-learning the trade.
I have a Cricut and have made shirts and jerseys for our daughters' softball teams with iron-on vinyl. I rarely use it or vinyl anymore since the introduction of DTF. The design details and quality of DTF is much greater than vinyl.
While I was cleaning a space for my embroidery machine last year, I ran across a small laser machine I had bought and forgot about... it had never even been taken out of the box. I got it out and started learning how to use it. It's so cool. There are so many possibilities with it and yet another outlet to be creative and offer some really cool products. I have since bought a larger laser for bigger products.
